The Traveller Men’s shed runs every Thursday from 5:30-7:30pm in Southside Traveller Action Group (STAG) premises. The men’s group are currently working on building Traveller barrel wagons using wood, arts and crafts. Wood, tools and materials are all provided. There is also a pool competition every Thursday with fierce rivalry to see who’s the king of the pool table, along with hot food and drinks on the night.

Previous Events
The Run-A-Muck challenge took place on Saturday 5th March with over 100 Traveller men from around Ireland taking part in the 10 km mud run. Our Traveller men’s group had 12 people taking part who raised over €600 for the Irish MPS Society who have been a great supporter of Travellers who have the rare disease.
This was the first in a series of events in 2016 aimed at Traveller men to bring about positive changes in men’s physical and mental health. These events are organised by Pavee Point and local Traveller groups from Dublin and surrounding areas.
